São Miguel dos Milagres, in Alagoas, is one of those rare corners of the Brazilian coast that remain practically untouched and far from the public spotlight. The small municipality is part of the Coral Coast, region where is the second largest barrier reef in the world. Due to the care and concern for the environment, part of this stretch is known as the Ecological Route, a 35 km route between the small towns of Passo de Camaragipe and Japaratinga, whose best known destination is São Miguel dos Milagres. This still little explored piece of the Alagoas coast is suitable for those who are looking for stunning beaches, calm and warm water and those indescribable shades of blue and green. You should also enjoy a quiet atmosphere and a certain rustic air, two characteristics that have everything to do with São Miguel dos Milagres.
